Brunch at Miro Kaimuki

I love all things brunch, so I didn't hesitate to say "yes" when Nat suggested we meet up at Miro Kaimuki for Brunch!

Poppyseed Scone

The Poppyseed Scone was really good.  It was soft, buttery, and flaky, and served with a Papaya Jam.

I ordered sides of Bacon and Crispy Potatoes, because brunch isn't brunch without bacon, and it's always a good idea to have potatoes in some form.  The potatoes came topped with a yummy salsa verde!

Duck & Waffle
I had a taste of Nat's Duck & Waffle, and it was so good!  The Duck was not gamey at all, and the waffle offered just enough sweetness to complement the duck.

Shakshuka

I loved the Shakshuka - which included meatballs, haricot verts, and a poached egg.  The accompanying Grilled Bread was perfect to sop up any leftover tomato sauce.

Corn. Kona Coffee. Caramel.

The dessert was light and an ideal way to end the brunch.  The different textures and contrasting flavors worked nicely together.

Service was great, and the price was very reasonable.  Definitely looking forward to returning!
