It's official - Moon & Turtle is re-opening!
Having shut down dine-in service upon the onset of the pandemic, Moon & Turtle transitioned to take-out, offering familiar faves and experimental dishes, as well as their signature cocktails to-go.
I was able to get one last pop-up take-out order before their well-deserved hiatus prior to re-opening.I indulged in Chef Mark Pomaski's Beef Bowl - tender pieces of slow-roasted, Big Island grass-fed tri-tip, with sweet onions, Koshihikari rice, and a tetsuyaki dressing to bring everything together. I don't eat a lot of beef, but this was so delicious - I couldn't stop eating it.
Of course, I had to get one of my favorite cocktails made by Soni Pomaski - Lemon Peel Lemonade.
