b.patisserie Launches Tartines at Kona Coffee Purveyors

Earlier in the week I attended a media preview of the new line of Tartines by b.patisserie at Kona Coffee Purveyors. James Beard Award-winning Belinda Leong and Michel Suas of San Francisco’s b. patisserie introduced this new line of open-faced sandwiches, and the current line-up includes:

Mushroom - mushroom ragout, caramelized onions, Gruyere, and bechamel

Turkey BLT - turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado mayonnaise

Ham & Cheese - ham, Gruyere, Swiss cheese, and bechamel

The levain bread is housemade, and the toppings were so delish! My favorite was the Mushroom. The creamy cheese sauce, the caramelized onions, and the perfectly cooked mushrooms were combined to create such a flavorful tartine.

The tartines are perfectly sized, and complement the many sweets and drinks available at the shop.

As big of a sweet tooth I have, I love that Kona Coffee Purveyors and b.patisserie launched the savories.

The tartines are available daily from 11am to 3pm at $14 each.
