Why buy a mix when you can make pancakes from basic staple ingredients that you probably have at home?
PancakesIngredients:
- ¾ c milk
- 2 T white vinegar
- 1 c all-purpose flour
- 2 T white sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- ½ t baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 T butter, melted
- Pour vinegar into milk; stir and set aside for 5 minutes.
- Stir egg and butter into milk.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda in a medium bowl.
- Pour flour mixture into milk mixture and whisk until batter is smooth.
- Pour batter by 1/4 cup onto non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook 2-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
