If you are looking for a lovely setting to have Sunday Brunch, look no further than 53 by the Sea. The ocean and diamond head view combined with excellent service and delicious food is quite hard to beat. And did I mention the bottomless mimosas?
I can't take advantage of bottomless mimosas but for those that can, cheers to you! I opted for their sparkling Koha-Lada made with Kohana Agricole Rum, pineapple juice, coconut syrup and sparkling wine. It was refreshing and very tasty! I loved it.
We started with the oysters and truffle fries (both very yummy) and I had 53's Breakfast Sandwich for my entree. The signature sandwich is made with house-made pork sausage, cheddar cheese, scrambled eggs, and buttermilk biscuits. It's served with roasted potatoes and spicy sambal ketchup. I didn't care for the sausage as it was a little too "herb-y" for my taste, but I absolutely loved the rest of the sandwich especially the buttermilk biscuits and the spicy ketchup. I also got to sample a muffin from the pastry basket and that was also amazing.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to 1:30pm. There is ample self-parking.
