Visit Island of Hawai`i: Dimple Cheek Cafe & Local Market

Last summer, I had Dimple Cheek Cafe & Local Market on my itinerary.  However, a change in plans meant no visit to the eatery.  However, after seeing posts by @mt_view_brad about the restaurant, my interest to visit was reignited.

I had the Fried Chicken with Jalapeno Corn Gravy.  It was a gigantic meal, with a butterflied chicken breast, roasted veggies, and mashed potatoes.  I thought everything was tasty and hearty.  The chicken was a little on the dry side because of the use of a butterflied breast, but with the gravy (which had a little kick to it), it was just so yummy!

My friend thought the burger was just okay.

While you wait for your order, check out the adjacent market, where you can find all sorts of groceries and goods (many Kirkland-label products).
