CMY Cubes are the coolest! If you've never heard of them (I never heard of them before I received a pitch email), I'd call them a science toy that is not only fun, but also educational and relaxing to handle as well!
The CMY Cube is colored cyan, magenta, or yellow (CMY) on opposing sides, and with the slightest movement, the cube changes color by being filtered with light, resulting in a pretty incredible array of colors.
According to the website, this is called "subtractive color mixing."
I've honestly never heard of that before, but it's just so neat!
There's a lot of science that goes behind the process, but the CMY Cube is pure, solid, fascinating fun that will fill any child (and even adult) with wonder.
My son and I would spin the cube in all different directions and identify all sorts of different colors.
Sometimes multiple colors would end up being seen on a single side.
