When our host in Italy kept telling us we'd be staying in a castle, I had no idea what to expect.
And quite frankly, nothing could have prepared me for the spectacular experience at Castello di Bossi.
Bossi is steeped in history tracing back to the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The castle itself has gone under numerous changes of ownership until its acquisition by the Bacci family, the present owners.
Castello di Bossi produces world-renowned wines through 124 hectares of Sangiovese grape vines.
Upon arrival at Castello di Bossi, I was quite blown away - it was like living in a museum, with priceless art work, books, decor, and more, but with completely modern amenities.
It was so dreamy - I really felt like a princess!
Although the castle itself is adorned with heirlooms and some of the most valuable antiquities I've ever seen, the rooms themselves are modern, with air conditioning, plush beds, and marble bathrooms.
I had so many "pinch me" moments throughout our stay.
There are several buildings for lodging throughout the property, as well as pools, and even a restaurant, where we had a lovely meal upon arrival.
If you're looking for an authentic experience while in Italy, I highly recommend booking a stay at Castello di Bossi. You don't have to be a wine expert to enjoy the beauty and history behind Castello di Bossi.
I am certain that anyone who experiences a stay at Castello di Bossi will find themselves in awe, immersed in nature, culture, history, and luxury, all in one place.
