Over a decade ago, Cheonggye Plaza and Stream was revitalized, becoming a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike to stroll and hang out.
What was once uncared for is now a beautiful attraction, drawing families, tourists, and nearby workers looking for a change of pace.
We visited at night so we could view all of the lights, which made the waterfall and fountains even prettier.
It's a very neat place to visit for a leisurely stroll or to simply sit, relax, and people watch.
A huge "Spring" sculpture by Claes Oldenburg and his wife, Coosje van Bruggen, greets visitors in Cheonggye Plaza, fronting the stream.
It was amazing to see the efforts of the revitalization.
