When I posted about my first visit to Don's Grill in Hilo, so many people said I should've gotten the Mud Pie (when I ordered online it wasn't available), so on a recent visit, I made sure to order it!

I was craving comfort food, so I got the Won Ton Mein, plus Fries and Gravy. It was just what I needed! Everything was so yummy, and the broth was tasty.

The Linguine Bolognese is a popular dish at Don's. There's nothing authentic about it in the Italian sense, but when it comes to Hawai`i's version of spaghetti - it totally hits the spot.

I ate nearly the entire pie in one sitting! I loved that the coffee ice cream was not too overpowering, and that the fudge and chocolate were more dominant flavors.
The food comes out very quickly, and the service is very friendly!
Don's is a great spot for local faves and familiar comfort foods.
