Visit Seoul: Dongdaemun Toy & Stationery Store Street

If you have kids, take a stroll down Dongdaemun Toy & Stationery Store Street while in South Korea, and you’ll be amazed as you pass stall after stall after stall of toys (even if you don't have kids, it's a must-visit for anyone who has nieces, nephews, friends with kids, or even if you're just a fan of certain characters, like those of Sanrio or Dragon Ball Z).

And these stalls front multi-level stores which contain even more toys!


There were all sorts of toys imaginable, and with so many choices, any kid can get overwhelmed.

We left Dongdaemun Toy & Stationery Store Street with just a few toys (we already had so much omiyage at that point), and it was super fun seeing the types of toys and other kid-friendly gear (umbrellas, pillows, etc.) offered.
