Visit Maui: The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua

Last month, I was fortunate to spend a weekend at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, for the Celebration of the Arts.

It was my first time at the resort, and first time ever going to Kapalua, so I was very excited!

The property spans 54 acres, with 466 rooms, 2 championship golf courses, numerous dining options, a three-tiered pool, and so much more.

After checking into my room, which was adorned with island-inspired artwork and warm tones, I immediately checked out the view, which overlooked the golf course, and I could even see the ocean!

The marble bathroom included both a soaking tub and a shower, as well as a spacious double vanity and a separate water closet.

A coffee maker, mini fridge, as well as complimentary bottles of water are available for guests.

The room was cozy, yet spacious enough for me to do work or eat at the table, and relax on the lounge chair.

After getting settled, I went to The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge at the Anuenue Room, and I was simply blown away.

For an extra charge per night, guests can visit the newly renovated Club Lounge for expertly-prepared food and drink.

Guests have access to a bar (highly recommend the Kapalua Punch!), housemade cookies, an impressive assortment of drinks (pressed juices, waters, kombucha, and more), and the best eats I've ever had in any resort club lounge.

Club Lounge guests have access to five daily culinary presentations: breakfast (pastries, eggs, meats - there is even an omelet station!), light lunch (sandwiches, salads, soups), snacks, hors d'oeuvres (sushi, fruits, and cheeses), and desserts and cordials.

The food was fantastic and comparable to what you can get in any great restaurant.   I indulged in breakfast, sandwiches and dips, and of course - dessert (the pistachio cake was amazing!).  I also drank a lot of pressed juices, which kept me hydrated during all of the weekend activities.

I spent lots of time in the Club Lounge with @melissa808, catching up, doing work, and just relaxing.

After hours, guests can still access a "to-go" room for snacks, water, and coffee.

I spent so much time at the lounge, that I didn't get to enjoy much of what the outdoors had to offer.

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua is home to a 20,000-square foot deck and a three-tiered pool.

There are plenty of lounge chairs so you can grab the perfect spot by the multi-tiered pool, or rent a cabana for the ultimate indulgence.
The beach is just a short walk away, and there are numerous paths for those who wish to walk or jog.

You can participate in a number of cultural activities that the resort has to offer, as well as visit the spa, dine at a number of the onsite eateries, or catch a shuttle to nearby shops and restaurants.

My stay at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua was fabulous, and I hope to return so I can experience more of what the resort has to offer.
