While walking through Gwangjang Market, we noticed numerous stalls frying up Bindaettok, or mung bean pancakes.
Stalls had the pancakes piled high, and each stall tried you to persuade you to eat theirs.
As we continued walking through the market, I noticed some stalls fronted actual restaurants, and we randomly walked into one - Gane Park Bindaetteok, which has been operating since 1966.
They specialize in Millstone Bindaetteok, and offer a variety of other types of pancakes and Korean specialties.

We ordered all sorts of pancakes, and my favorite was the traditional Bindaetteok (Mung Bean). The Tteokbokki, or spicy-stir fried rice cake, was indeed quite spicy.
The Pork Belly & Korean Pancake reminded me a bit of "Meat Jun," and the Gimbap was simple, but a table favorite.
Everything we ordered was delicious, and I'd order them all again.
Gane Park Bindaetteok is three levels - we sat at a table at the top level, and it's quite a rambunctious atmosphere (there were several loud, drunk men), but we felt safe and enjoyed the authenticity of the locale.
