Clau & Chui's Cantina

Clau & Chui's Cantina started out as a food truck and opened up shop in Wahiawa almost a year ago.

They have a basic menu of Mexican favorites, and I ordered my favorite Mexican dish - Chimichanga.  I had it with chicken, and I thought it was good.  The Chimichanga was also stuffed with rice, beans, cheese, onions, and cilantro.  It was a bit soggier than I had expected, but the flavors were pretty good.

I did wish beans and rice were served along with the food, and I did think it was different that each dish was already cut in half (usually I get burritos or chimichangas whole and uncut), but I appreciated that it was already in half since we all ate the second half for dinner.

The burritos, chimichangas, and pambazo were all enormous and stuffed, and it was great to try a new place.
