Usually gyoza is ordered as a side dish to ramen or fried rice. But at Tanto Gyoza and Ramen Izakaya, the signature item is the GYOZA!
Only at Tanto can you order gyoza in quantities of 8, 16, 24, 32 ala carte. Their gyoza is "Hamamatsu-style", meaning it's intended to be eaten with one bite.
The wrappers are thin, and each gyoza is pan fried to perfection.
We each ordered Lunch Combo A which comes with 8 pieces of one bite gyoza and choice of ramen.
I really liked the Tokyo Umami. The broth was made of fish & dried kelp & chicken broth, and aged shoyu.
I will definitely be coming here more often since it's close to work. Open for lunch and dinner service! Parking is free for the first hour (no validation is needed!).
