Ninja Bar at Ninja Sushi Mililani

Thanks to my foodie friend Kellie Shiroma, I just learned that Ninja Sushi Mililani has a full BAR and dine-in area in the back of the restaurant. I tagged along with her to a media event and discovered a huge dining area where they serve refreshing cocktails and a full food menu with great happy hour specials to boot!  

The bartender made us the Zen Garden, which can also be made as a mocktail, and the Green Flash. Both drinks were tasty and perfect to pair with some sushi rolls. Popular maki rolls that we tried are Superman, Tornado, and Salmon Crunch Dynamite. We also enjoyed the Firecracker poke bowl, ramen, and tofu fish nuggets. The variety on the menu is impressive and perfect for large groups and families. 

Green Flash (midori, peach schnapps, Tito's vodka, lemon, sprite) and Zen Garden (Roku Gin, ume syrup, cucumber, lime, tonic)

Superman Roll - spicy ahi and cucumber topped with ahi, lion sauce, teri sauce, flakes, and green onion 

Tornado Roll - crab, cucumber, shrimp tempura with volcano mix, garlic, mayo. Lightly torched and topped with habenaro masago and green onion

I still can't get over how I didn't know Ninja Sushi Mililani had a bar! Now that I know, it makes a great happy hour/dinner option for after work/after practice on school nights where there is just not time to cook. The restaurant is clean and roomy and service is great!  I look forward to returning with the family!
