Tenkatori Revisited

Tenkatori is easily one of my new favorite eateries in Hilo.  I recently ordered take-out again, and now they have a phone number listed on their social media so you can call in your order and minimize your wait time.

Don't mind the umeboshi that rolled off the rice

I ordered the Karaage Bento again.  Their specialty is the chicken karaage, so you must get the chicken.  The chicken didn't have as strong of a ginger taste as last time, so I thought it tasted even better than the first time.  The chicken was cooked perfectly again, and even the Japanese rice was perfect again (seriously some of the best rice I've ever had).

When I called, they said it would take about 7 minutes, and by the time I got to pick up the food, it was waiting for me.

They make the karaage fresh to order, so you may have a bit of a wait if you don't call ahead.
