Visit London: Babylon Park

My oldest son wanted to visit an arcade while in London, so we went to Babylon Park.

This arcade / amusement park is located in an inconspicuous brick building in Camden that looks like a residence.  But step through the doors, and it's like you're transported into another place that looks nothing like the surrounding area, which is bustling with food stands and shops.

Babylon Park is huge, with three levels, and also boasts an indoor roller coaster, bumper cars, skills games, and even a Baby-lon area for toddlers.

There are all sorts of games to play, and even different types of amusement-park type rides, but my kids just played games in which you could win tickets.

You have to purchase game cards to play games, and any tickets won goes directly to your card, and you can redeem your tickets later for fun prizes.

I was actually a bit hesitant to go to Babylon Park, because when I think of arcades, I think lots of noise and kids, but Babylon Park was not that crowded at all.
In fact, it was a welcome respite, as there were tables, chairs, and outlets, so we could rest our weary feet while charging our phones.

If you're hungry or thirsty, they do have an eatery on site, as well as vending machines.

The kids had fun while the parents rested!
