The World of Coca-Cola is an included attraction with the Atlanta CityPASS (CityPASS sponsored two passes for our family).
Upon entering, you first get a brief history on Coca-Cola in The Loft by an ambassador who fills her stories with Coca-Cola puns. Her enthusiasm for the brand was sure infectious (or as she would often say - "Fantatastic!")! The Loft is a room full of Coca-Cola memorabilia that spans decades!
After watching a short six-minute film in The Coca-Cola Theater about special life moments, we were off to explore at our leisure. There are several exhibits spanning two levels, and the first exhibit we went to was the Vault of The Secret Formula.
A tour guide led guests through vintage displays with historical tidbits of Coca-Cola's origin.
It was a rather rushed tour with very minimal explanations of where we were walking through or what we were looking at, but in the end it was neat to see the actual vault where the secret formula for Coca-Cola is kept.
Milestones of Refreshment was a self-guided walk through Coca-Cola's history. In this exhibit, we saw even more vintage memorabilia.
I loved the display with all the beverage bottles from around the world under the Coca-Cola brand.
Test Beverage 23 was a little citrusy!
Pop Culture showcased a variety of exhibits and interactive experiences. You could design your own Coke bottle, see art that was created with Coke products, and see historical papers on Coca-Cola's history.
The hands-down favorite exhibit of our family was Taste It!, where we could sample all sorts of beverages from around the world under the Coca-Cola brand.
Some of the beverages were really sweet, others really sour, but they were so fun to try!
I loved the display with all the beverage bottles from around the world under the Coca-Cola brand.
The Beverage Lab allows guests to learn about the science of the beverages (carbonation, flavor balances), and you can even taste beverages currently under research and development!
Scent Discovery was a fun exhibit, where we explored the connection between taste and smell. We first played a game, then were presented with a wall full of scents.
The game was fun, but this was another exhibit that we were rushed through. It would've been nice to spend more time playing the scent game and exploring the scent wall.
Although we felt rushed through a couple of the exhibits, I'm glad there were exhibits that we could go through at our own pace.
It was fun to learn about the history of Coca-Cola and taste so many different beverages at World of Coca-Cola.
