Visit South Carolina: Cribbs Kitchen

While in South Carolina, the original restaurant we wanted to dine at was super packed, so since we were famished, we decided to try another restaurant - Cribbs Kitchen.

Cribbs Kitchen was crowded too, but it was just a 20-minute wait.  We hopped back in the minivan to wait until they texted us that our table was ready.

Fried Green Tomatoes
The Fried Green Tomatoes were fried tempura-style, and one of my kids really loved the accompanying grits!

Pimento Cheese Fritters

Berry Poppin Smash

Berry Poppin Smash came with beer whipped cream cheese, white American cheese, jalapeno bacon, crispy jalapeno, and Rasp-beery sauce.
Asian Noodle Salad

Buffalo Chicken Wrap

Mac 'N' Cheese
The Mac 'N' Cheese is actually a shareable app, but perfect for a single serving meal for someone who loves mac and cheese (like my oldest son).

Fried Chicken Sandwich

I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Hot-Honey Style (for a dollar extra).  It was an enormous sandwich, and not very spicy at all.  The chicken was extra crispy on the outside, and nice and juicy on the inside.  One of my kids who got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap didn't care much for the wrap (he said the sauce was too sweet, and the chicken too dry), so I shared the other half of my sandwich with him.

Service was great, and I'm glad we found Cribbs Kitchen in South Carolina!
