Visit Hong Kong: HashtagB

HashtagB is a bakery that offers all sorts of treats, including egg tarts.  We went one morning only to discover they don't sell them until 1230pm (others asked too - maybe there should be signage?).

We went one evening and saw the last of the egg tarts being bought, so we were out of luck once again.

We never got to try the egg tarts, but we did go another morning to pick up treats to eat for breakfast.

Golden Pork Floss Rolls

These rolls reminded me a bit of baked manapua.  I really enjoyed them.

Taro Paste Mochi Bun
I had a taste of the Taro Mochi Bun, and I thought it was good!  Taro is pretty big throughout Hong Kong, which I had was very surprised to learn.

It's too bad we didn't get to try the egg tarts, but we were happy with what we were able to try!
