Visit Tokyo: Taito Station

One of my kids love going to arcades whenever we travel, and while on our recent trip to Tokyo, we went to Taito Station in Ikebukuro.

There are several throughout Tokyo (we previously went to one in Akihabara) and they are multi-level arcades with all sorts of games and other interactive experiences.

There are driving games, taiko drumming games, a rail train driving game, dancing games, street fighting games, and a number of other video games - many of which you won't find in the US.

Crane games are very popular in Japan, and they had a lot of crane games encompassing two floors!
There was also a floor where you could ready yourself to take photos in sticker booths.
Most games were just 100 yen, and you could use coins vs having to buy a card.

It was a fun way to spend some time, especially in the summer, since it's air conditioned!
