Han no Daidokoro

A good friend of mine treated me to dinner at Han no Daidokoro in Kakaako (hereinafter referred to as HND).  HND is a Japanese style Yakiniku restaurant that specializes in high quality beef from Japan.  My friends who have dined here before said this place is worth the $$, so I was excited to finally be able to experience it for myself.

 

To avoid having to make any tough decisions on what to order, we opted for the Miyazaki Beef and Washu Beef Course ($120 per person). This course consists of 11 dishes, including salad and dessert. Both types of meat are high grade, with the Miyazaki sourced from Japan and the Washu sourced from Oregon.  Both types are AMAZING and if you appreciate good meat, I highly recommend this course!

By the end of the meal, I was very full, which is not usually the case when I eat at Japanese Yakiniku restaurants. This course is great for those who love and appreciate good quality red meat. All courses were nicely presented and the service was excellent.  

Parking is available directly behind the building, or in any of the Ward Village parking lots.
