Onkee Korean Grill House

I love Korean BBQ, but I'm not a fan of cooking the meats so I was very excited to try Onkee Korean Grill House where they do the grilling for you. Located on the second floor of Kō‘ula Shops, Onkee is an upscale Korean BBQ restaurant featuring dry aged meats and Miyazaki Wagyu.

The restaurant isn't very big, but its bright and open layout makes for comfortable seating. Our party of 7 shared the Japchae, Seafood and Green Onion Pancake, Egg Souffle, and special off menu Potato Pancake. Everything was tasty, but the standout dish was definitely the seafood pancake. I could have eaten one by myself.

For meats, we shared the Combo B that is recommended for 3-4 people and included tenderloin, ribeye, hanger steak, and marinated beef short rib. We decided if it wasn't enough, we could always order more. We didn't need to as the portions were more than enough especially with the provided banchan.

Service was excellent!

Ward Villages is currently running a Taste of Ward Special from October 10-18 where you will receive your choice of one complimentary appetizer (Beef Shank Salad or Japchae) with your purchase of the Grill Combo A or B (serves 3 to 4 people) when you mention “Taste of Ward”. See their website for more details.
