Visit Maui: #CabanaLife at Fairmont Kea Lani

During our stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani, we were fortunate to have a hosted cabana for the day.

We had an ʻohana cabana, which had 4 lounge chairs, snacks, and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks.

We chose the cabana at the center of the Lagoon pool (#15).

We stayed hydrated with water, juice, and sodas.
The pool attendant, Alika, was so friendly, offering to make "POG" juice for the kids by combining Guava and Passion Orange juices.

We got a snack tray mid-day, which included edamame, pineapple, and veggies.

Later in the day we got mochi ice cream!

We ordered poolside lunch:

Paniolo Burger

Spicy Ahi Poke Bowl

Mac and Cheese
When you spend all day at the pool like us, a cabana helps tremendously when you need shade to rest under and take a break to eat and drink.

Huge shout out to Alika who was so helpful and always made sure we had whatever we needed, and even made sure we stayed safe after noticing some nearby guests who were making their own rules.

There is a basketball hoop at the pool which is meant to be played with from inside the pool, but when some nearby guests started playing basketball from the bridge next to our cabana, causing the errant balls to hit pool furniture and even our cabana, it was concerning, because they could've seriously injured someone.

Alika noticed and notified the manager, who told the guests that they can't play from the bridge.

Mahalo to Alika!

We were in the cabana from 9 to just after 5 (attendant and food service ends at 5), and really made the most of it.

#CabanaLife was just what we needed and really help to make our stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani so relaxing!

Mahalo to Fairmont Kea Lani for hosting our cabana.  Gratuities and lunch were paid on our own.
