Visit Maui: Jack's Inn

Despite my many trips to Maui, I never heard of Jack's Inn until recently, when I did a search for breakfast spots near the airport.

They offer a nice breakfast-all-day menu, as well as lunch items.

When I saw saimin was offered only for lunch, I was bummed, but I took a chance and asked if I could order it (at 10am), and the woman said they just got their delivery of noodles so we can order it (they ran out the previous week)!

They use Maui-based Iwamoto noodles.

Won Ton Mein
I had the Won Ton Mein, which was so good!  The thick noodles, tasty won tons, roast pork and delicious broth made for a welcoming bowl of comfort food.

Dry Mein
The serving of Dry Mein was enormous, and it comes with some broth on the side.

It was such a great spot for saimin.  I look forward to returning to try other local faves!
