Restaurant Kuni

I recently went to Restaurant Kuni for the first time since they renovated and went under new ownership.  
Despite being under new ownership, the menu is essentially the same, and our favorites have not disappeared.

Meals come with Miso Soup, Tsukemono, Tossed Green Salad, Rice, and Moyashi.

The space, dishware, and the look of the menu may have been updated, but the flavors are still there, and so is the nostalgia.  

The Chicken Katsu was juicy and tasty.  It was as good as I remember, but in a different way.

I miss seeing the "water trick," but it's good to know that the current owners are carrying on Kuni's legacy.
